Health Checks

A basic health check is carried out prior to surgery, covering haemoglobin, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, blood clotting time and electrolytes, plus an ECG for any patients due to undergo a general aesthetic. These tests are included in the basic price, but you can have a broad range of additonal health tests at a Medical Diagnostic Centre if you wish, such as blood tests for any cholesterol, thyroid, liver or hormonal imbalances.

Scans of all the major organs and computer bone density to detect osteoporosis can also be arranged. You will receive most blood test results within 1 hour and scan results within 24 hours.
