I set up Euromedica Cosmetic Surgery and Dentistry 15 years ago to give my clients access to high quality cosmetic surgery and superb aftercare at affordable prices. I was surprised by the high prices and lack of proper regulatory care within the UK cosmetic surgery industry, together with their minimalist approach to the provision of aftercare. Aftercare constitutes 50% to the successful outcome of any cosmetic surgery procedure. For example, a tummy tuck operation requires an everyday massage so that the lymphatic fluid that naturally accumulates after the surgery is massaged out of the wounds to speed up the healing process. Similarly, our nurse gently massages faces with a special cream after facelift surgery. Our patients enjoy the massage immensely since it reduces post-operative swelling and discomfort. Coupled with this, everyday cleaning and disinfecting of the stitches ensures that patients are left with minimal scarring because the scabs are being removed in the early stages of the healing process. Thanks to the provision of our holistic aftercare approach, we have never had any post-operative infections. All stitches are placed under the skin so that a patient has no visible signs of the operation.

The surgery is carried out within the first few days of arrival in Poland following a final medical consultation with the surgeon. Thereafter daily trips by the nurse to the recuperation centre where patients stay ensure a high level of aftercare throughout the recovery period. During the second week, ample time is devoted to leisure activities .A basic health check is carried out prior to surgery, covering haemoglobin, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, blood clotting time and electrolytes, plus an ECG for any patients due to undergo a general anaesthetic. These tests are included in the basic price, but you can have a broad range of additional health tests at a Medical Diagnostic Centre. Another popular optional extra available to our patients during their recuperation period is a comprehensive range of cosmetic dentistry procedures.
