| The surgery is carried out within the first few days of arrival in Poland following a final medical consultation with the surgeon. Thereafter daily trips by the nurse to the recuperation centre where patients stay ensure a high level of aftercare throughout the recovery period. During the second week, ample time is devoted to leisure activities.A basic health check is carried out prior to surgery, covering haemoglobin, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, blood clotting time and electrolytes, plus an ECG for any patients due to undergo a general aesthetic. These tests are included in the basic price, but you can have a broad range of additional health tests at a Medical Diagnostic Centre. Another popular optional extra available to our patients during their recuperation period is a comprehensive range of cosmetic dentistry procedures. |
